FRESHMAN (2025)

  • On May 30th she was a finalist in the ITF W15 San Diego doubles tournament with USC's Lily Fairclough.
  • Contributed to the victory over Ole Miss in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament with a 6-3, 6-2, victory over Alice Soulie. (5/2)
  • Won both her doubles matches with Sara Svetac as her partner against Baylor and TCU to win a team-high 12 doubles matches in the spring.
  • She won her sixth conference match of the year defeating Danielle Tuhten, 6-2, 6-2 for her sixth win in the last seven matches. 
  • Taylor clinched the match against the Sun Devils defeating Maria Santos (KSU) 4-6, 6-0, 6-4 in the 4-3 win over Kansas State. (3/23)
  • She had a 4-0 weekend winning both her doubles matches and singles matches against West Virginia and Cincinnati. She helped clinch the match against the Bearcats with her fourth straight win. (3/16) 
  • Won her second straight singles match beating Janse Van Vurren of Kansas in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4 (3/7).
  • Contributed to the teams win over #51 BYU with a straight-sets 6-1, 6-4 victory from the #4 spot over Chelsea Bluestein (3/1).
  • Started her doubles career 6-0 with Patricija Spaka as her teammate, opened the year with two top-20 victories.
  • She won her first career singles and doubles matches against LMU, winning in straight sets against Anastasia Bosova 6-1, 6-1. She won in doubles against Isabella Tcherkes/Fiona Arrese 6-3 and was paired with Spaka.

Athletic Achievements:
-       Reached a rank of #42 in juniors
-       Played at all of the junior grand-slams (Wimbledon, French Open, Australia Open & U.S. Open
-       Qualified playing for Australia in Junior Billie Jean King Cup
 
What drew you to ASU?: I loved the campus when I visited and had a great connections with the coaches. I also had the opportunity to meet the team and really connected with them as well.
 
What are your academic interests?: I'm interested in psychology and creative writing.
 
What are your career goals?: I want to have a professional career as a tennis player.
 
What are some of your favorite hobbies outside of your sport?: I love to read, write, listen to music, and play card and board games.
 
What is something about you that other people might not know?: I was born in London and moved to Australia when I was one.

Personal: Two siblings, Ava and Cleo. Mother is Donna Taylor and Father is Gabriel Taylor.
