The Pac-12 announced its first weekly honors of the 2020-21 men's basketball season as presented by Nextiva, and Sun Devil Josh Christopher earned the first Pac-12 Freshman of the Week award after his first three games, as he averaged 18.7 ppg on 22-of-38 shooting (.580), including 28 vs. No. 3 Villanova on Thanksgiving.
The 28 points versus the Wildcats are tied for the most by a freshman in NCAA Division I this season, as he also went for 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting and six rebounds in just 22 minutes of action in ASU's 100-77 victory over Houston Baptist.
He is the first Sun Devil recipient of Pac-12 Freshman of the Week award, which was created in last season.
