SEATTLE, Wash. (www.TheSunDevils.com) -- The Arizona State University Sun Devils lost in straight sets to second-ranked University of Washington Friday night at Bank of America Arena. Game scores were 30-17, 30-18, 30-14 in favor of the Huskies.

The Sun Devils dropped their second straight match to fall to 6-7 overall and 1-2 in Pac-10 play. UW ran its win streak to 11 games and have yet to lose a game this season.

Sophomore middle blocker Colette Meek (Sherwood Park, Alberta) led the Sun Devils with eight kills on a .333 hitting percentage. Junior outside hitter Nicole Morton (Fallbrook, Calif.) added six kills and Margie Giordano (Glendale, Ariz.) and Nina Reeves (Gilbert, Ariz.) each tallied five. Sophomore libero Sydney Donahue (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) notched 12 digs to extend her streak of matches with double-digits in digs to 14 straight matches.

All-American outside hitters Christal Morrison and Sanja Tomasevic each had 14 kills and Brie Hagerty had 11. Courtney Thompson led all players with 49 assists.

The Sun Devils return to action Saturday night against Washington State University at Bohler Gym in Pullman, Wash.
