SEATTLE (AP)- Washington's Doug Wrenn scored 23 points as the Huskies snapped a six-game losing streak with an 81-68 victory over the Arizona State Sun Devils Thursday night.

Wrenn missed his first shot of the game, but ended up hitting 9-of-14 from the floor. Over the last two games, Wrenn has scored 52 points.

Washington (7-8, 1-4 Pacific-10) used 60 percent shooting to make up for 25 turnovers.

Chad Prewitt's 3-pointer with 2:50 remaining in the game pulled the Sun Devils to within four points, at 69-65, but they couldn't get any closer. The 13-point margin at the end was Washington's biggest lead.

Arizona State (9-5, 2-3) saw its four-game winning streak end. Prewitt led the Sun Devils with 24 points. Curtis Millage had 15 and Kyle Dodd added 10.

With the exception of Millage and Prewitt, Arizona State was ineffective on offense. The Sun Devils turned the ball over 19 times, shot 32 percent from the floor and converted on only 17-of-32 from the free throw line.

Erroll Knight had 19 points for Washington and Grant Leep 17. Curtis Allen had a career-high 15 assists.

Washington raced to a 10-2 advantage in the first three minutes with Wrenn scoring eight of those points.

The Huskies led by as much as 12 in the first half. Josh Barnard's 3-pointer put Washington ahedad 23-11 with 11:17 remaining, but the Sun Devils responded with a 6-0 run as Tommy Smith had a dunk and Millage followed with a pair of layins.

The Huskies led 39-32 at the half.
