Sun Devil Wrestlers Travel to Cal Open
TEMPE, Ariz. -- Arizona State University wrestlers will be competing in the California Open Sunday, November 16 in Fullerton, California.
Sun Devils wrestlers will be competing unattached against some of the best wrestlers in the conference. Arizona State's four returning All-Americans, Danny Felix (126), Matt Suter (158), Casey Strand (167) and Aaron Simpson (177) are expected to compete.
Cal-State Bakersfield, Cal-State Fullerton, Cal-Poly SLO, Fresno State, Stanford and a host of junior college wrestlers will be represented.
ASU opens it's collegiate dual season November 29 at pre-season No. 1 Oklahoma State. The Sun Devils, ranked No. 6 in the pre-season, open at home against Oregon State on December 4 at 5 p.m. in the University Activity Center.
