ASU Wrestling Falls to Korea
TEMPE, Ariz.- Arizona State lost 15-14 to the visiting Korean Wrestling Federation in an International Freestyle exhibition at the PE East Gym on the Main Campus in Tempe this evening.
Korea jumped out to a 15-5 lead after six matches, only to see ASU mount a rally. Seniors Matt Suter, Aaron Simpson and Joe Micela each shutout their opponents, but the Sun Devil squad came up one point short.
The match was a prelude to the Sunkist/ASU International Open this weekend, October 25 & 26, at the University Activity Center.
