KEEP AN EYE ON HER: One Sun Devil who many will be keeping close eyes on at both Pac-10s and NCAAs is freshman Riley Mants. Mants swam for the Canadian National Team at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. Mants has already made her presence immediately felt in the Sun Devil program. Thus far this season, Mants has already posted the Devils' second-best all-time times in the 100 (1:02.56) and 200 (2:12.70) breaststroke. Mants' times are only surpassed by that of ASU's all-time most decorated swimmer Beata Kaszuba, who won three national championships in her Sun Devil career.

CALL HER CONSISTENT: Perhaps the Devils' most consistent swimmer meet in and meet out is junior all-America Carolyn Adel. This season, Adel owns the Devils' top times in the 200 (2:02.45) and 400 (4:18.26) IM, 100 free (51.29), 200 free (1:48.28), 500 free (4:49.68) and she owns the second-best times in the 200 back (2:02.25), 100 breast (1:05.84), and 1000 free (10:09.59).

FABULOUS FROSH: Another freshman who has made big waves for the Devils this season is freshman Sarah Baham. This season Baham set the school record in the 100 fly (54.76) at the Texas Invitational. Baham is also third on the Devils' all-time list in the 200 fly (2:00.42). Baham has showed great versatility in only her first yearas a Sun Devil. Baham has the Devils' top time this season in the 50 free and second-best times in the 100 free (51.71), and 1650 free (17:21.27). Baham's 1650 free time came against Northern Arizona. It was the first time that she swam the event as a Sun Devil.
