AUSTIN, Texas. - Play wrapped up on Tuesday at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational where the Arizona State women's golf team finished in 14th place (342-328-332=1002, +138). Freshman Tiffany Tavee (Gilbert, Ariz.) led the Sun Devils all week and finished in a tie for 23rd at 23-over (80-80-79=239) after her best round of the tournament on the final day with a seven-over 79.
Sophomore Alissa Kuczka (Phoenix, Ariz.) carded an impressive round of six-over (84-83-78=245) to jump 13 spots from yesterday and finish in a tie for 41st at 29-over for the tournament. Junior Erin Tone (Gilbert, Ariz.) tied for 64th at 37-over (88-82-83=253), freshman Lindsay Anderson (El Paso, Texas) tied for 84th at 49-over (90-83-92=265) and junior Nicole Deacon came in 92nd at 63-over (93-94-92=279).
Vanderbilt claimed both the team and individual titles with the Commodores (316-316-303=935) taking a two-stroke victory over hosts Texas while Chris Brady (72-77-77=226, +10) took home top individual honors. The Sun Devils are in action next weekend, April 2-4, when they host the PING/ASU Invitational. Final team scores at the Betsy Rawls Invitational are as follows:
