Women's Golf No.1 for the Winter
TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State women's golf team is in hibernation for the winter and will remain the top-ranked team in the nation throughout. The final fall rankings are out and ASU stayed at the top of the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings while Sun Devil freshman phenom, Grace Park, also remained in the top spot of the individual rankings. Three other Sun Devils are ranked among the nation's top 40.
Park, who won the Rolex Fall Preview with a tournament-record six-under par 210 in 54 holes, also finished in a tie for fourth place at the Golf World/Palmetto Dunes Collegiate Invitational, in Hilton Head, South Carolina and placed third at the Stanford Women's Intercollegiate during the fall season.
ASU's spring season begins February 9-11 at the Regional Challenge in Palo Verdes Estates, Calif.
