Women's Golf in Second at Rolex Fall Preview
TEMPE, Ariz. -- Freshman Sun Devil Grace Park shot a one-under 71 as the Arizona State women's golf team shot a 10-over 298 on the day to sit in second, five strokes out of first, after the second round of play at the Rolex Fall Preview in Madison, Wisconsin. The University of Arizona shot a one-over 289 to move into first. Rounding out the top five are Tulsa, Furman and Texas A&M respectively.
Park, playing in her first collegiate tournament, holds a one-stroke lead over Arizona's Marisa Baena in the race for medalist honors. Senior All-American Kellee Booth shot a two-over 74 and sits in a tie for eighth place individually. Junior Keri Cornelius carded a four-over 76 to tie for 21st individually and junior Tui Selvaratnam shot a five-over 77 to tie for 40th. Senior Jeanne-Marie Busuttil shot an six-over 78 on the day and is tied for 60th.
Final round action of the Rolex Fall Preview will take place tomorrow at the University Ridge Golf Course. The shot-gun start will begin at 8:30 a.m.
