Track and Field Signs Two More

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Track and Field head coach Greg Kraft has signed two additional high school seniors to national letters of intent to compete on ASU's track & field team while studying at Arizona State University next year.

Candida Coulson (Roswell HS, Roswell, Ga.) is the 1998 Georgia state champion in the 300m Hurdles, running a AAAA state record 42.93. She also finished second in the 400m at the state meet, running a 55.94. Tamara Espinoza (Hilltop HS, Chula Vista, Calif.) finished sixth at the California state championships in the triple jump, clearing 38 feet.

The two latest signees bring the Sun Devils' total to 15 in the 1998 recruiting class. The spring signing period began April 8 and runs through August 1.
