Schedule Features Tough Competition
As can be expected, the Sun Devils have a strong schedule ahead for the 2004-05 season. The five dates of the home dual meet lineup feature some of the top teams in the nation. The women have meets in Tempe against three top-20 teams from last year including Stanford (No. 5), California (No. 6), and Oregon State (No. 20). Of the four men's home meets, two are against top-10 teams from last year: Stanford (No. 2) and Arizona (No. 7). The away schedule includes a trip to Los Angeles, Calif. where the women take on USC (No. 9) and UCLA (No. 7) and the men battle against USC (No.14). The Sun Devils also travel to the midwest for dual meets against strong opponents out of the Big Ten and head to Texas for the Texas Invitational. Both the men and women wrap up the regular season with a showdown against their intrastate rival Arizona.

ASU vs. UNLV
The Sun Devil men last saw UNLV last season in Las Vegas which saw the men come out with their first victory of the season (138-99). In the 2002-03 season both the men and women opened up the regular season against the Rebels where both squads recorded wins.
