PALO ALTO, Calif. – The Sun Devil men's swimming and diving team suffered a devastating 160-71 loss to third-ranked Stanford on Friday afternoon. On the women's side, the No. 24 Sun Devils fell 132.5-97.5 to No. 6 Cardinal.
The ASU men drop to 0-6, making it their third-consecutive Pac-12 loss with just two duals left in the regular season (Cal Jan. 21, Arizona Feb. 11).
No. 24 Arizona State women drop to 5-2 overall with the 132.5-97.5 loss to sixth-ranked Stanford.

ASU began the day strong opening the dual with a win in the 400 medley relay as Kellie Kyle, Rebecca Ejdervik, Caroline Kuczynski and Shannon Landgrebe finished tops with a time of 3:42.30. The Sun Devils followed with a first-place finish by Tristin Baxter in the 1,000 freestyle as she clocked in at 9:54.00, over 10 seconds faster than the second-place finisher.
Baxter came back for her second top finish of the day, this time in the 500 freestyle. With a time of 4:51.40 she again blew out the competition finishing over eight-seconds faster than the second-place finisher.
ASU garnered a win in the 200 breaststroke as a combo first-and-second showing came from Penelope Yamauchi and Jordyn Green, who came in with times of 2:16.05 and 2:18.24, respectively.
In the diving events, Elina Eggers was tops in the 3-meter with a tally of 339.90 while also taking home the top nod in the 1-meter with a score of 311.18.

Friday's top finishes started with a third-place showing by Hayden Thomas in the 1,000 freestyle, with a time of 9:32.68. The 50 freestyle offered a bit of excitement as Herbie Behm recorded a time of 21.29 for fourth place, just 0.23 behind the top finisher.
Keeping up in the freestyle events, Jesper Akesson rang in at third with a time of 46.88.
In the diving events, ASU muscled in points with second-place finishes by Cameron Bradshaw in the 1-meter dive (362.85) and 3-meter dive (360.23). Constantin Blaha was not far behind in the 1-meter, placing third with score of 337.13.
