Peter Alosi

TitleStrength and Conditioning Coach
Pete Alosi returned to Arizona State in 2016 for his second stint as an assistant sports performance coach for the football program after previously serving in the same role in 2007. In 2018 he transitioned over to the Olympic sports performance staff into his current role and works directly with the women’s lacrosse & softball programs. Pete has also previously worked with the gymnastics & water polo teams. In addition to his team responsibilities, Alosi has direct oversight of the Carson Student Athlete Center weight room. He is also responsible for co-coordinating all sport science initiatives for the sports performance department and serves on the sports technology committee for Sun Devil Athletics. Prior to his return to ASU, Alosi most recently worked with the University of Buffalo and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) football teams each for a season. Before that he spent 8 years working as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Arizona Cardinals. In addition, he has completed internships with the New York Giants & Cleveland Browns to add to his NFL coaching experience. His coaching career first began in the private sector at Velocity Sports Performance after completing his first internship in 2003 at Hofstra University. Alosi graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Salisbury University where he played Division III football. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach, a Performance Enhancement Specialist & Corrective Exercise Specialist through the NASM and is Functional Movement Screen Level 1 certified through the FMS. Pete was born In Massapequa, New York and currently resides in Chandler with his wife Celia and two children Isaac & Elijah.
