FEATURE: Going International: McKennon Eyes French Open 

SENIOR (2023-24):

• Pac-12 All-Conference Second Team honoree. 
• Earned a 13-8 singles record on the season, splitting time between the second and third position.
• His season was highlighted by an upset of #41 Jacob Bickerseth (Michigan)  in the team's final match of the ITA Indoor Tournament.
• Posted a 14-7 doubles record including being ranked alongside Bor Artnak after seven straight wins as a doubles pair to open the season.

Fall 2023

• Made it to the Final round of the Battle of the Bay doubles with Constantinos Koshis. 

JUNIOR (2022-23):

• Singles wins over No. 38 Oklahoma, No. 32 Baylor, No. 37 UCLA and No. 69 Liberty.
• Completed the year with a doubles record of 17-8.

SOPHOMORE (2021-22):
Spring 2022

• Started the year ranked No. 118 in the ITA singles rankings and 42nd in the ITA doubles rankings alongside Fabien Salle.
• Named captain of the team alongside Fabien Salle following the fall semester. 

Fall 2021

• Upset No. 4 ranked Duarte Vale (6-4, 1-6, 6-4) at Chowderfest in the fall. 
• McKennon and Fabian Salle competed as the lone doubles team at ITA Men's All-American Championship in the fall. The duo defeated No. 38 Julian Steinhauser and Hunter Allen. 
• Appeared in eight singles matches and five doubles matches in the fall, earning six singles victories and three doubles victories. 

FRESHMAN (2020-21):

• Earned a spot on the 2020-21 Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll
• Went 5-6 between No. 5 and 6, picking up three sweeps despite breaking both legs in a freak accident in March. Clinched ASU’s second-round victory against Stanford in the Pac-12 Championship to send the Sun Devils to their first Pac-12 Championship title match since reinstatement. Victory was a 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (8) victory over Timothy Sah.
• Went 8-3 in doubles, picking up a 6-4 victory over No. 88 Stefan Dostanic/Bradley Frye (USC) April 26 in the Pac-12 Championship title match.
  • Played mostly with Nathan Ponwith at No. 2. The pair lost just two matches.
• Preceded the spring season by playing in the 2020 French Open Junior Championships where he was eliminated in straight sets in the opening round. Was previously slated to also play in the US Open and Wimbledon junior tournaments but both were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to ASU:
A five-star blue chip recruit out of Newport Beach, Calif., McKennon was one of the best players to come out of his signing class. He came to ASU with four singles titles and six doubles titles on his belt. The lefty ranked tenth in the nation and was the No. 1 ranked player in both California and the Southwest region. He holds a 13 UTR and peaked at No. 61 in the ITF junior rankings, No. 78 amongst US collegiate players, and was No. 227 amongst collegiate players in the world. McKennon earned over 120 wins in his junior career and was coached by world-renowned Australia Carsten Ball. Ball continues to coach McKennon at ASU, having accepted a role as a volunteer assistant coach with the program in 2020.
