SENIOR (2020-21)
- Went 9-11 playing primarily at No. 2.
- After opening the season on a 0-3 skid, Makey went 8-1, with the first five victories coming consecutively. Six of those victories were two-set wins.
- Went 9-8 in doubles, mostling alongside Tim Ruehl where the pair were ranked No. 43 for the majority of the season. The pair’s best victory came in round two of the NCAA Team Championship where they, then ranked No. 43 in the country, topped No. 2 Alastair Gray/Luc Fomb (TCU) 6-3 at No. 1.
- Rakotomalala and Ruehl twice beat No. 46 Drew Baird/Govind Nanda (UCLA) during the season.
JUNIOR (2019-20)
- Earned his first win of the season against Grand Canyon, taking a 6-3, 6-1 win on court one (1/16)
SOPHOMORE (2018-19)
- Got off to a hot start to his sophomore campaign, taking wins in four of his first five matchups against opponents from Duke, Oklahoma State, LMU and Pepperdine
- Earned his first ranked win of the season over No. 105 Austin Abbrat of Texas A&M, winning in straight sets 6-1, 6-0 (2/22)
- Clinched the Sun Devils' victory over Indiana, dropping his first set but battling back to win 6-7, 7-6 (2), 6-2 in Bloomington (2/10)
- Won the match for ASU against Delaware with a 6-1, 6-2 victory (4/2)
- Played a crucial role in the Sun Devils' 4-0 sweep of conference foe Utah, gliding past his opponent 7-5, 6-2 to clinch the ASU victory (4/13)
FRESHMAN (2017-18)
- Notched his first collegiate victory against Duke, outlasting Nick Stachowiak 6-4, 6-2 to score the first point for the Sun Devils since returning as a program (1/13)
- Came out on top of a hard-fought battle against No. 41 Jordi Arconada of Texas A&M, taking a 7-6 (3), 2-6, 7-6 (5) victory (1/14)
- Clinched ASU's first victory since its revival, defeating Lucas Moreno of LMU 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 (2/9)
- Went on a five-match tear, notching five straight wins (3/18-4/8)
PRIOR TO ARIZONA STATE
- Started playing tennis at age four and achieved a career-high of 1,094 in ATP singles and 1,064 in ATP doubles
- Has a career 10-21 record in singles on the ATP Tour and ITF World Tennis Tour main draw and 9-15 record in doubles
- Holds one career doubles title at the Tunisia F18 Futures in 2015
