Junior (2015-2016)
- Represented Hungary at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, finishing 24th in the 100 free and helping the 4x100 medley relay finish 9th
- Like his sophomore season, returned from injury (two broken arms) to win his first two events back (100 back & 100 free) against Wyoming on Jan. 17, 2016
- Won 6 of 8 events in dual meets leading up to Pac-12 Championships
- Named NCAA Division I TeamUnify/CollegeSwimming Men's Swimmer of the Week after performance vs. No. 17 Arizona
- At the Pac-12 Championships, finished 4th in the 100 free and 100 back
- At the NCAA Championships, finished 32nd in 50 free, 23rd in 100 free and 18th in 100 back
- Broke three presonal best times at the 2016 NCAA Championships
- On the ASU all-time records list, owns the top 100 back time (46.11) & 4th-best time in 50 & 100 free, as well as a member on the 3rd-best 200 free relay, top 400 free relay squad, top 800 free relay squad, top-3 200 medley relay teams and top-2 400 medley relay squads.
Sophomore (2014-2015)
- Competed for the first time of the year against Arizona after returning from shoulder surgery, where he won the 100 free in a time of 44.34
Freshman (2013-2014)
- ASU record holder in the 100 Backstroke (47.16)
- Winter National finalist, placing 10th in the 100 Backstroke
- Competed on 4 out of the 5 ASU relays at Pac 12 Championships
International
- Competed for Hungary in the Rio De Janiero Olympic Games in 2016
- Competed for Hungary in the London Olympic Games in 2012
- Won a Bronze Medal at the European Championships in 2012
Personal
Richard Bohus’ favorite sporting moment was walking on to the pool deck at the London Aquatic center before the 100m back. Richard and brother Gergely are the sons of Tamas Bohus and Ilona Csepregi.
