ASU: Former junior college transfer who emerged as a significant contributor in his senior season...played in 23 games over the last two years, making 10 starts at safety in 2009...totaled 56 tackles (38 solo), two tackles for loss, three interceptions, two pass break-ups and one fumble recovery in his career...was a mid-year junior college transfer in 2007, but redshirted the 2007 season...has excellent size for the position.

2009: Played in all 12 games, starting 10 at safety...tied for fourth on the team with 46 tackles (31 solo) and tied for the team lead with three interceptions...also had 2.0 tackles for loss (minus seven yards), two pass break-ups and one fumble recovery on the season...made his first career start in season-opening victory over Idaho State on Sept. 5...had one tackle in victory over ULM on Sept. 19...enjoyed a breakout performance at No. 21 Georgia on Sept. 26, getting his first two career interceptions, including one that he returned for a touchdown, recovering a fumble and recording three solo tackles against the Bulldogs...tied for the team lead with seven tackles (four solo) and had an interception against Oregon State on Oct. 3...had a solo tackle for loss in victory at Washington State on Oct. 10...posted three solo tackles in win over Washington on Oct. 17...collected seven tackles (five solo) at Stanford on Oct. 24...totaled six solo tackles against California on Oct. 31...had two tackles against No. 12 USC on Nov. 7...recorded six tackles (three solo) at No. 14 Oregon on Nov. 14...had five tackles (three solo) and a pass break-up at UCLA on Nov. 21...finished his ASU career with five tackles (two solo) against Arizona on Nov. 28.

2008: Played in 11 games as a reserve safety and on special teams...recorded 10 tackles (seven solo) on the season...made his collegiate debut and collected his first two career tackles in season-opening victory over NAU on Aug. 30...had two tackles at No. 8 USC on Oct. 11...posted a season-high four tackles (three solo) in shutout win over Washington State on Nov. 15...finished the season by making two solo tackles at Arizona on Dec. 6.

2007: Redshirted as a member of the scout team after enrolling at ASU in the spring.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Attended Phoenix (Ariz.) College...regarded as the No. 83 junior college player in the nation and the No. 20 junior college defensive back by Rivals.com...runs a 4.4 40-yard dash...as a sophomore, he totaled 50 tackles and seven tackles-for-loss in eight games...originally committed to Minnesota, to a staff which included current ASU defensive coordinator Craig Bray...also considered West Virginia, Kansas and Utah...played his freshman year at Arizona Western on the same defense as fellow signee Luis Vasquez...coached by Dale Wolfley at Phoenix College.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Cheyenne High School in North Las Vegas, Nevada...was named first-team All-State and first-team All-Northwest Conference as a senior...was recognized as Cheyenne's Most Valuable Defensive Player as a senior...earned second-team All-State honors by Scout.com as a senior at Cheyenne in 2004...set school records for single-season interceptions (10) and defensive touchdowns in a season (six) as a senior...added three offensive touchdowns, eight forced fumbles and one kickoff return for a touchdown in 2004...as a junior, he totaled three interceptions, six offensive touchdowns and four forced fumbles...lettered three times in football, basketball and track at Cheyenne...coached by Charles Anthony at Cheyenne High School.
