Samantha Zadel is a senior transfer student from Barry University in Miami, Florida. Before attending Barry, she was enrolled at Phoenix College where she played centerfield. In 2004, she was named All-American and All Region. She was also named to the first all tournament team in 2004. Samantha led all junior colleges in stolen bases in 2003, and was a member of the Phoenix College National Championship Team in 2004 and Regional Champions in 2003 and 2004. At Horizon High School, Zadel was a two-year letter winner in volleyball and a four-year letter winner in softball, where she captained the team for two-years. Zadel was All-City first team in 2001 and 2002 and All-Region first team from 1999-2002. Samantha was born on August 9, 1984 to Dennis and Cindy Zadel. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, water skiing and jet skiing and is currently majoring in accounting.
