ASU: Talented, powerful tailback who has performed well...returns for his junior year after missing most of last season with a knee injury...one of the best all-around players on the team...will vie for playing time and a starting spot at tailback...also plays a lot on special teams.
2004: Played in four games before sufffering a season-ending ACL tear Sept. 25 against Oregon State...rushed for 155 yards on 17 attempts on the season (3.7 yards per carry)... rushed 11 times for 44 yards against UTEP... gained a season-high 50 yards on 10 attempts, including a long of 17 yards, against Northwestern...also collected a solo tackle vs. the Wildcats...had gained 47 yards on 16 carries vs. Oregon State in his lone start of the year before going down with the knee injury...was recognized as a Hard Hat Player for his work in ASU's winter strength and conditioning program.
2003: Played in 11 games with one start...was third on the team with 228 rushing yards...second on the team with 4.9 yards per carry...scored his only rushing touchdown of the season vs. Utah State...had 10 carries for 47 yards in that game...tallied four receptions for 21 yards...rushed for a career-high 67 yards on 13 carries vs. Arizona...also tallied five tackles on special teams.
