ASU: Veteran tailback who battled through an injury-plagued career to get back on the field as a senior...led ASU with 493 yards rushing as a redshirt freshman in 2002, the first freshman to lead the team in rushing in 20 years...earned Sporting News Pac-10 All-Freshman honors that season...Played in 30 career games, and missed the entire 2004 season due to injury...had 172 career carries for 622 yards and nine touchdowns as well as 11 catches for 89 yards and a score...earned his undergraduate degree prior to the start of the 2005 season.
2005: Played in seven games...gained 25 yards rushing on six carries for the season, all of which occurred against Northwestern on Sept. 17...that was the first action he saw since November, 2003 because of injury...he also caught a pass for nine yards in that game...saw significant time as a member of ASU's special teams units...was one of seven Sun Devils to have already earned his undergraduate degree prior to the beginning of the season.
2004: Did not see any action due to injury.
2003: Played in all 12 games...carried the ball 36 times for 104 yards...scored a pair of touchdowns on the season, both one-yard carries (vs. Oregon and at Washington State)...had a career-best 21 carries for 63 yards in that game vs. the eighth-ranked Cougars...long carry was 14 yards in that game...also had three kickoff returns for 34 yards on the season.
2002: Played in 11 games, starting seven during his redshirt freshman season...led the squad in rushing with 130 carries for 493 yards (3.8 avg.) and seven touchdowns...became the first freshman at ASU to lead the team in rushing since Darryl Clack in 1982...earned Sporting News Pac-10 All-Freshman Team honors...caught 10 passes for 80 yards and one touchdown...returned five kickoffs for 66 yards...had 15 carries for 100 yards and one touchdown vs. Eastern Washington...against Stanford, recorded four touchdowns (3 rushing, 1 receiving) to tie for the most touchdowns in a game in the Pac-10 for the season...missed the last three games of the year with an ankle injury.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2001 graduate of Phoenix's Alhambra High School...earned two votes by the Long Beach Press-Telegram in its "Best In The West" poll...named All-West Region by PrepStar Magazine...listed as No. 15 player in Arizona in the preseason by SuperPrep Magazine...selected first-team All-Arizona by the Arizona Republic...earned first-team defensive honors by Phoenix Metro Magazine on its Super All-State 2000 team...scored seven touchdowns on returns as a senior...set 15 Alhambra school records...among them were his 4,252 rushing yards and his 57 touchdowns...averaged more than 10 yards per carry for his career...during his senior year, rushed for 1,748 yards and 27 touchdowns...rushed for 1,550 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior.
