ASU: Active and experienced defensive back thrived as a starter in ASU's secondary as a senior...played in 43 career games, starting nine during his senior season...collected 75 career tackles (53 solo)...surpassed his combined amount of total tackles of his first three years (33) as a senior, with a strong 42-tackle 2005 campaign...rangy defender broke up 19 passes throughout his career and had four interceptions...saw action at both cornerback and free safety.

2005: Played in all 12 games, starting nine games at cornerback after playing safety in 2004...finished sixth on the team with 42 tackles (27 solo)...led ASU and was tied for seventh in the Pac-10 conference with 11 pass breakups...had a career-high eight tackles as well as a pass break-up against top-ranked USC on Oct. 1...broke up two passes in consecutive games against Washington on Oct. 29 and a week later at Washington State on Nov. 5...recorded three assisted tackles and an interception in the opener against Temple on Sept. 1...had four total tackles (three solo) and a sack against No. 5 LSU on Sept. 10....had one solo tackle and a pass break-up in his first career start against Northwestern on Sept. 17.

2004: Played in all 12 games...recorded nine tackles and three pass breakups on the year...tied for third on the team with two interceptions...in the season opener vs. UTEP, recorded two tackles (one solo), one pass breakup, and intercepted one pass...recorded two solo tackles against top-ranked USC, including his first career sack for a 10-yard loss...recorded two solo tackles against Stanford as well as a pass breakup and one interception, returned for 14 yards.

2003: Played in 11 games...tallied 14 tackles on the year (12 solo)...recorded a career-high five tackles (all solo) Nov. 8 at Stanford...had three tackles and his lone pass breakup of the season in the Nov. 28 season finale against Arizona.

2002: Played in eight games during true freshman season...totaled 10 tackles on the year, with six being solo efforts...broke up four passes...recorded an interception and three pass breakups against Stanford.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of Cathedral High School in Los Angeles...a PrepStar honorable-mention all-region selection...rated as the 23rd best cornerback in the nation by Rival100.com...earned first-team All-Camino Real League honors as a senior...voted the Most Outstanding Defensive Back by his coaches as a senior...racked up 60 tackles, five interceptions and one forced fumble as a senior...was the Most Improved Player at Cathedral High in 2000 (junior) in only his second year of playing football...tallied 55 tackles and three interceptions...returned kickoffs and punts as well...also competed in track and basketball, winning two letters in track...played for coaches Kevin Pearson and Mike Davis at Cathedral.
