ASU: Speedy receiver who played in 35 career games with four starts...caught 37 passes for 498 yards (13.5 avg.) and two touchdowns over his career...had his best season in 2006, becoming one of ASU's most reliable targets before missing the final four games due to injury...also showed the ability to be a dangerous special teams return threat.
2008: Played in 11 games...recorded 10 receptions for 131 yards (13.1 avg.) on the season...also contributed in the return game, with 12 punt returns for 151 yards (12.6 avg.) and four kickoff returns for 55 yards (13.8 avg.)...had two catches for 19 yards in the team's season-opening victory over Northern Arizona on Aug. 30...had a season-high 66 yards on four receptions against Oregon on Oct. 25...had two catches for 31 yards in win over Washington State on Nov. 15...became one of the team's top return men in the second half of the season...collected 85 yards on three punt returns, including a 58-yard return in the second quarter at Oregon State on Nov. 1...had 55 yards on three kickoff returns in win over UCLA on Nov. 28.
2007: Played in 10 games...totaled five catches for 56 yards (11.2 avg.) on the season...also had four punt returns for 30 yards (7.5 avg.)...had two catches for 27 yards and a season-best 25-yard punt return in the fourth quarter of season-opening victory over San Jose State on Sept. 1...caught a pass in two of ASU's final three games of the season, with a reception against USC on Nov. 22 and against Texas in the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl on Dec. 27.
2006: Played in nine games, starting four before missing the final three games due to injury...totaled 15 catches for 235 yards (15.7 avg.) and one touchdown...caught two passes for 79 yards and a 52-yard touchdown reception against Nevada on Sept. 9...hauled in two receptions for 26 yards at Colorado on Sept. 16...led ASU with four catches for 44 yards at No. 21 California on Sept. 23...had a 15-yard reception at No. 3 USC on Oct. 14...totaled three receptions for 42 yards against Stanford on Oct. 21...suffered a knee injury at Oregon State on Nov. 4 and missed the remainder of the season.
2005: Played in five games, catching seven passes for 76 yards and a touchdown...averaged 10.9 yards per catch...had season-highs of three receptions for 33 yards against Northwestern...had two catches for 28 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown (also Rudy Carpenter's first career touchdown pass) in his ASU debut in the season opener against Temple (Sept. 1)...caught two passes for 15 yards at Oregon State...returned two kickoffs for a total of 57 yards, including a 38-yard return against Temple.
2004: Redshirted as a member of the scout team...excelled as a receiver and on the return team.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe Springs, Calif....a member of the Tacoma News Tribune's "Western 100"...named Most Valuable Player at the invitation-only Beyond 2000 Camp in the summer of 2003...listed as the No. 52 player in the state of California by SuperPrep Magazine...rated as a "Super Prospect" by ESPN.com following his junior campaign...listed as the No. 57 prospect in TheInsiders.com Pac-10 Region Top 100 in the preseason...rated as the No. 34 player in California and a preseason All-American by SuperPrep...rated a postseason All-America selection by PrepStar Magazine...also rated as the No. 28 wide receiver in the nation, the No. 41 player in the West and the No. 32 player in the state of California by Rivals.com...named first-team all-C.I.F.
