ASU: Hard-working local product and scholarship player and played multiple positions for the Sun Devils...enjoyed an excellent senior season as a receiving tight end and was one of the most improved players in the Pac-10 Conference...was a phenomenal special teams player...appeared in 46 career games with six starts as a senior...caught 16 passes for 296 yards and one touchdown...blocked two kicks as a senior...played wide receiver, tight end and defensive end during his ASU career.
2007: Played in all 13 game as a senior with six starts...caught 15 passes for 272 yards (18.1 avg.) and one touchdown on the year...was also a special teams stand-out, blocking a punt, a field goal and recovering a fumble on the punt team...caught two passes for 26 yards in his first career start against Colorado on Sept. 8...totaled two receptions for 38 yards and recovered a fumble on special teams against Oregon State on Sept. 22...blocked a 44-yard Jordan Kay field goal attempt and also had a 14-yard reception against No. 18 California on Oct. 27...blocked a Greg Woidneck punt against No. 11 USC on Thanksgiving night...caught two passes for 33 yards against rival Arizona on Dec. 1, including a three-yard touchdown, his first career score, coming in his final career game at Sun Devil Stadium...had a 28-yard reception in the 2007 Holiday Bowl against No. 17 Texas, his final game for ASU...was one of eight graduate students on the Sun Devil roster.
2006: Played in 12 games...was one of ASU's finest special teams players, earning the Special Teams Iron Man Award at the Sun Devils' year-end banquet...recorded six total tackles (five solo) on special teams...had his first career reception, a 24-yard catch at Oregon State...did not see action at Colorado...had a 22-yard reception in the team's spring game.
2005: Played in nine games, mostly on special teams...recorded two solo tackles on the year.
2004: Played in all 12 games, mostly on special teams...turned in three tackles on the year (one solo).
2003: Redshirted as a member of the scout team.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2003 graduate of South Mountain High School in Phoenix...earned first-team all-league honors...was his team's MVP...was also named to the All-Informant team by the Arizona Informant...played quarterback as a freshman and sophomore and wide receiver as a junior and senior...has 47 receptions for 700 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior...lettered in football, baseball and track...lists turning in personal record to win Metro League titles in the long jump, trimple jump, shot put and high jump as his most exciting sports experience.
