Nycz Named Pac-10 Player of the Week

ASU placekicker Robert Nycz has been named Pac-10 Special Teams Player of the Week. The senior from Bakersfield, Calif., hit three field goals in ASU's 23-12 win at Miami. Nycz connected on all three of his attempts from 34, 33 and 27 yards as well as two PAT attempts.
Nycz is a perfect 5-for-5 this season and is tied for first in the nation with 2.5 field goals per game. Nycz is also perfect in seven PATs this season, extending his streak of successful extra point attempts to 72.
