Tillman and Richardson Named to All-Academic Team
ASU's LB Pat Tillman and SS Damien Richardson have been named to the 1997 GTE Academic All-District VIII football team. The duo is leading the team in tackles with Tillman notching 80 this season and Richardson having 66. Tillman is a marketing major with a 3.82 GPA and Richardson is a Bio-Engineering major with a 3.26 GPA. Both are seniors.
Tillman was an All-District winner a year ago. Richardson was a member of the Pac-10 All-Academic team.
