Kealy, Leyva Named Freshman All-Americans
Complete List of Post-Season HonorsASU's Victory Leyva and Ryan Kealy have been named Freshman All-American by The Sporting News . Kealy set ASU freshman records in completions, attempts, yards and touchdowns while also having one of the most prolific seasons by a freshman quarterback in Pac-10 history. Kealy finished his season having completed 162 of 297 passes for 2,137 yards and 15 touchdowns with seven interceptions. Leyva started eight games in 1997 at left tackle and helped the Sun Devils to a Pac-10 best 193.8 yards rushing per game.
