1999-2000: Having won 26 matches by fall in his career, ranks seventh on the ASU all-time list…first-time All-American honoree with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Championships…captured the Pac-10 title at 149 pounds…earned a 15-7 major decision over Cal State Fullerton’s Joey Calavitta in the conference finals…finished the season ranked seventh by Amateur Wrestling News and ninth by InterMat…turned in a 34-11 overall record and a 9-3 dual mark…led the Sun Devils with 13 falls, receiving the team award for the "Most Falls"…pinned four of his last six opponents heading into the Pac-10 Championships…won three matches by major decision…missed five dual meets with a knee injury…placed at four tournaments including third-place showings at the Cowboy Open, Las Vegas Invitational and Reno Tournament of Champions…also placed seventh at the Midlands Invitational.
1998-99: Qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year… finished second at the Pac-10 Championships, falling to third-ranked Oscar Wood of Oregon… posted a 23-12 overall and 13-6 dual record on the year… finished the season ranked 17th in the Amateur Wrestling News poll… won eight matches by fall, which ranked second on the team, and two by major decision… went 4-1 at the National Team Duals… finished second at the Keystone Classic and sixth at the Midlands Invitational.
1997-98: ASU’s lone true freshman starter… finished the season with a 22-12 overall record and an impressive 10-9 in dual action… finished third at the Pac-10 Championships… was ranked as high as seventh during the season… finished third at the California Open… also captured third at the Las Vegas Invite, putting together a string of three falls in a row… had an impressive showing against eventual NCAA champion Mark Ironside of Iowa, recording a takedown in the first three seconds of the match… also led at one point 4-1 before eventually being pinned… went 0-2 at NCAAs.
High School: A 1997 graduate of Blair Academy in Blairstown, N.J.… high school national champion in 1997… 1996 junior All-American Junior World Team member in 1996… put together a 36-0 record as a junior…Cadet All-American in 1994… a three-time prep school national champion.
Personal: Majoring in interdisciplinary studies…parents are Irvin and Zelde Foster… has two brothers, Phillip Binns (31) and Kevin (31)… born in Cheverly, Md.… full name is Quinn Ryan Foster.
