Arizona State - 2005 XC: Competed in three races...finished 10th at the Canyon West Classic...30th at the Dave Murray Invitational and 37th at the ASU Invitational.
High School: A 2005 graduate of Cactus Shadows High School (Cave Creek, Ariz.)...selected all-state in cross country as a senior and was a three time (2002, 2003, 2004) all-region selection as well...team won the regional crown three years in a row and added a third-place finish at state as well...in his final regional race, placed third overall...on the track, team won back-to-back regional crowns...set the school record in the 800m run at the state meet to finish overall...bettered his personal best by four seconds...also finished fourth in the 4x800m relay and 12th in the 3,200m run...regionally as a senior, helped the 4x800m relay win title while earning second-place finishes in 800m, 1,600m and 3,200m runs...captained both the cross country and track and field teams as a junior and senior...lettered four times each in both sports.
Personal: Majoring in biomedical engineering...parents are Mike and Kyle Cronin...has two siblings, Patrick and Lukas...born August 8, 1989, in Phoenix...hobbies include skiing, mountain biking, bike mechanics, building computers, 4-wheeling, camping and backpacking.
