**Returning All-American**
ASU: Ranks third in ASU history in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.10) and eighth in the 200 breast (2:16.28)...part of the school-record-holding 200 free relay that clocked a 1:31.74 in 2005.
2004-05: Earned All-America honors in the 200 free, 400 free and 400 medley relays in her first year as a Sun Devil...helped set a school record in the 200 free relay (1:31.74) at the Pac-10 Championships...had ASU's second-best time in the 100 breast (1:02.10) and the third-fastest in the 200 breast (2:16.28)...placed 21st in the 100 breast and 28th in the 200 breast at the NCAA Championships...was third in the 100 breast at the Pac-10 Championships in the 100 breast (1:02.10).
Pacific: Big West Champion in 100 and 200 breast in 2002, '03...Big West record holder in 100 Breast High School: A 2001 Graduate of Homestead High School in Cupertino Calif.....earned letters in swimming...CCS Champion in 100 breast 1999-2001. Personal: Studying Early Childhood Education at ASU...Parents are John Schmidt and Josephine Cass...has one brother, Mathew...full name is Heidi K. Schmidt.
