TEMPE, Ariz.—The Arizona State men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were named to the Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association, the organization announced today.
The women's team earned a cumulative GPA of 3.24, placing second of the six Pac-12 teams ranked. The men's team placed first among the three ranked Pac-12 schools with a 3.17 GPA.
Awards are presented by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America to teams who achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester and in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (Winter/Spring).
The College Swimming Coaches Association is the oldest coaches organization in America. In addition to Scholar All American Awards, the CSCAA recognizes All American Swimmers and Divers at the national championships every year.
