Johnson Makes Cut at Kraft Nabisco Championship

April 2, 2010

Arizona State University freshman golfer Jennifer Johnson will continue to play at the Kraft Nabisco Championship as she made the two-day cut. Johnson will enter the third round tied for 66th at 6-over 150 (74-76) at the par 72, 6,702-yard Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif. Johnson, who missed the cut at last year's Kraft Nabisco Championship, is one of four amateurs to make the two-day cut.

With three birdies and five bogeys, Johnson carded a 2-over 74 on the first day. The freshman had a strong front nine, which featured two birdies and one bogey; but two double bogeys put her at 4-over 76 in the second round.

Several other former Sun Devil golfers made the two-day cut. Grace Park (T24), Jimin Kang (T32), Anna Nordqvist (T32) will continue to play. ASU fans can watch Johnson and the Sun Devil alum competing at the Kraft Nabisco Championship on ESPN2 (4-6 p.m. PDT) on Saturday and CBS (12-3 p.m. PDT) on Sunday.
