TEMPE, Ariz. - The annual 'Duel in the Desert' returns home as the sixth-ranked Sun Devil Softball team gears up to face their in-state rival, the seventh-ranked Arizona Wildcats this Wednesday night as they resume a rain-halted game at 5 p.m. with a follow-up of a complete game after.
The first game is a halted game in the bottom of the third inning tied 2-2 with Arizona up at bat, which is where the game will resume, and continuing with Arizona as the home team. With the finishing of that game, approx. 30 min after will be the start of the regularly scheduled ASU/Arizona match up with the Sun Devils as the home team.
At this time less than 200 standing room only tickets are still available as fans are advised that walk-up admission to the game is first-come, first-serve.
