Men's Swimming and Diving Opens 2010 Hosting Carthage and St. Louis

Dec. 31, 2009

The Arizona State University men's swimming and diving team will start up 2010 hosting St. Louis and Carthage. The meet begins at 3 p.m. MT. The ASU men are 0-3 overall and 0-2 in Pac-10 play.

Just Came Down From Londontown
Xavier Mohammed, of London, has proven to be quite the star for the ASU men's swimming team. In his first full season with the Sun Devils, Mohammed has handily scored the most points of any individual on the team. At the Mizzou Invitational, Mohammed won three events for the Sun Devils, the 200 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM. He now owns the 400 IM meet record and is now fifth on ASU's all-time list in the event.

O Canada
Riley McCormick may be a freshman but he sure does not dive like it. The 2008 Canadian Olympian has already achieved NCAA automatic qualifying scores in both springboards as well as the platform. He dominated the tower at the Wildcat Invitational, winning by over 60 points.

If You Cam, Cam, Cam!
There is no such thing as a sophomore slump for Cameron Bradshaw. The younger Bradshaw took over the field at the Wildcat Invitational to win the 1-meter with 357.25 points. It was a career-high for the sophomore as well as an NCAA automatic qualifying score.
