Even with strong showings from Ante Cvitkovic, Steve Neuwert and CJ Nuess, the Sun Devils fell for the second straight day to the University of Hawaii Warriors 169-112.
Cvitkovic won two events for the Sun Devils. He touched in at 1:00.25 in the 100 back and 2:12.73 in the 200 back to win the two events.
Nuess was victorious in the 1000 free and the 200 breast with times of 8:44.03 and 2:24.21 respectively. The senior All-American also placed third in the 200 fly.
Senior co-captain Neuwert won the 100 free, clocking in at 53.35. He also touched in at 23.71 in the 50 free to place second.
All-American diver Michele "Micky" Benedetti earned scores of 335.40 in the 1 meter and 411.20 in the 3 meter to place second in both events
Collin Gladys had a strong showing in his second collegiate meet. The freshman placed second in both the 100 breast (1:08.54) and 200 IM (2:14.69). He also took third in the 200 breast with a time of 2:34.21.
The Sun Devils return to action on October 13th when they take on UNLV in Las Vegas.
