ASU returns 50 letterwinners and 15 starters from last year's Sun Bowl team. Under the direction of fifth-year head coach Dirk Koetter, the Sun Devils are already ranked in the top 15 in the nation in the preseason polls. ASU will open the 2005 season on Thursday, Sept. 1, playing host to the Temple Owls at Sun Devil Stadium.
