OPELIKA, Ala. - Arizona State continues to be tied for eighth after a lightning delay shortened the final round of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships, being held at the Grand National Lake Golf Course.
The final round of the NCAA Championships will conclude on Saturday morning with tee times starting at 8 a.m. Cental (6 a.m. Pacific).
The Sun Devils are four-over in the final round with 10 holes to play and are tied for Washington at 32-over par for the tournament. UCLA continues to lead the tournament at even par and holds a seven-stroke lead over second-place Duke (+3) with 10 holes to play.
Individually, California's Sarah Huarte leads the field and is 11-under par for the tournament with seven holes to play on Saturday.
For the Sun Devils, freshman Tiffany Tavee is tied 27th with 10 holes to play. She was two-over for the day when play ended and is six-over par for the tournament. Sophomore Alissa Kuczka was even through nine holes Friday and is tied for 37th at seven-over par for the tournament.
Freshman Charmaine Erasmus was even par through 10 holes and is tied for 51st at 10-over, while junior Erin Tone is tied for 56th at four-over today and 11-over for the tournament with nine holes to play. Freshman Lindsay Anderson was turning in her best round of the tournament and was two-over par when darkness ended play on Friday. Anderson is 124th at 42-over par with seven holes to play.
