The Arizona State men's golf team is in sixth with an 11-over 587 (299-288) after the first two rounds of the NCAA West Regional Championship held at Washington National Golf Club in Auburn, Wash. Pac-10 champion UCLA leads the event with a 5-under 571. The event concludes on Saturday with 18 holes as the top 10 teams make the NCAA Championships to be held in Stillwater May 27-30. There are 27 teams competing in the West Regional.
All five Sun Devils are in the top 50, led by Jesse Mueller who is tied for 19th at 2-over 146. Three Sun Devils (Chez Reavie, Alejandro Canizares and Brady Stockton) are tied for 37th with a 4-over 148.
