House Finalist For Player Of The Year Award

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State senior guard Eddie House, the 2000 Pac-10 Player of the Year, has been named one of 12 finalists for the Oscar Robertson Player of the Year Award, given by the United States Basketball Writers of America.

The dozen finalists were named after 30 players were on the original ballot.

The other finalists include: Kenyon Martin (Cincinnati), Chris Mihm (Texas), Chris Carrawell (Duke), Dan Langhi (Vanderbilt), A.J. Guyton (Indiana), Morris Peterson (Michigan State), Troy Murphy (Notre Dame), Stromile Swift (LSU), Eric Coley (Tulsa), Marcus Fizer (Iowa State) and Courtney Alexander (Fresno State).

House and the Sun Devils travel to Raleigh to play North Carolina State on Tuesday, March 21, a 7 p.m. ET (5 p.m. MT) in the second round of the NIT. The game will be televised by ESPN.
