TEMPE, Ariz. -- Sun Devil women's swimming will represent Arizona State University at the "Race for the Cure," Sunday, Oct. 8 in Phoenix.
In coordination with ASU's community outreach program Sun Devil T.A.L.E.S. (Talk About Life Experiences Through Sports), 13 women's swimmers have volunteered to pass out water to participants in the 5-kilometer run and walk. The race is an event designed to raise breast cancer awareness.
The participation of ASU swimming in this event is just one of the many efforts made yearly by Sun Devil Athletics to get out into the community.
