Women's Tennis Falls to No. 8 UCLA

TEMPE, Ariz. - The 12th-ranked Arizona State women's tennis team fell to No. 8 UCLA, 7-2, at the Los Angeles Tennis Center today.

Sophomore Faye DeVera provided the Sun Devils only point with her three set victory over Katia Roubanova, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. Freshman Allison Bradshaw tried for her second upset in as many days but was unsuccessful as she lost 6-3, 6-0 to UCLA's Cristina Popescu, ranked 11th in the country.

ASU's second point was won in doubles play, as DeVera and Celena McCoury teamed to beat Brandi Freudenberg and Rochelle Raiss, 9-8 (6).

The Sun Devils are back in action when they return home to host Long Beach St. and UNLV, February 11th and 14th.
