High School: A 2006 graduate of Grand Canyon High School (Grand Canyon, Ariz.)... one of only seven track & field athletes at GCHS... won 10 individual state titles and one relay crown... took home gold in the 100m dash, 200m dash and 400m dash at the 2004, 2005 and 2006 state meets... also won the long jump in 2006 and was a member of the winning 4x100m relay team in 2005... accounted for 40 of the team's 47 points (fifth place) at the 2006 state meet... did not lose a single race as a junior, earning the Salute to Excellence Award...
