ASU: One of ASU’s top 1,500m forces…member of last year’s All-American indoor distance medley relay team.
2000 XC: Competed in three races with a season-best finish and time in the Canyon West Invitational (sixth, 26:16.9).
2000 Outdoor: Placed 10th at the Pac-10 Championships in the 1,500m (3:59.73)…posted season-best 800m time (1:55.21) at the Arizona Elite Classic…also competed in the 1,500m, recording a season best (3:47.76) at the Oregon Inv.
2000 Indoor: Member of All-American distance medley relay team which placed eighth (9:42.11) at NCAA Championships…competed in the 800m and the mile, recording season best times of 1:56.90 at the Days Inn Inv. and 4:23.84 at the Cyclone Classic, respectively.
1999 XC: Battled all season for final slot in ASU's starting seven... finished 49th at the Pac-10 Championship in 26:48, but became ill and wasn't able to run in regionals or nationals... placed 18th at ASU Invitational... season-best time of 26:03 came at the Cal Irvine Invitational.
1999 Outdoor: Posted ASU's best 1500 time of season with a personal-best winning time of 3:45.89 at the UA/NAU Double Dual... finished second in the 1500 at the Bill Sawyer and ASU Invitationals... did not finish in 1500 prelim at Pac-10 Championship due to injury... also posted ASU's third-best 800 time with PR of 1:51.62 at Arizona Elite Classic, finishing third.
1998 XC: Ran a personal-best 25:48 to finish 48th at Pac-10s, part of ASU's 4th-place finish... placed 54th, improving 1:50 and nearly 50 places from previous year, at the NCAA West Regional.
1998 Outdoor: Ran then-PRs in the 800 (1:55.70) and 1500 (3:54.86)... one of two freshmen to qualify for Pac-10s in the 1500, finishing ninth in his heat.
1998 Indoor: Clocked a 2:00.02 at Flagstaff Invitational.
1997 XC: Ran a 26:52 at Cal Irvine Invitational... finished 53rd at Pac-10s and 101st at the NCAA Regional.
High School: 1997 graduate of Torrey Pines HS in San Diego, Calif... lettered four years in track and two years in cross country... captain of the track and cross country teams for one year each... voted Most Improved in track in 1994... MVP of cross country in 1996... voted Most Outstanding in track in 1997.
