Tempe, AZ- Friday afternoon at the Whiteman Tennis Center, the ASU Sun Devils (10-4) suffered a 5-2 loss to the 16th-ranked USC Trojans. Next up for the Devils are the No. 8 UCLA Bruins on Saturday, March 30, at 12 p.m. The match will be held at the Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe.
In singles action today, both Dora Krstulovic and Mhairi Brown came up with big wins. Krstulovic defeated USC's Luana Magnani 5-7, 7-6, and 11-9 in a tiebreaker. Mhairi Brown captured a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Maureen Diaz.
In doubles play, ASU fought hard, but were still unable to defeat the Trojans as they were unable to seal a doubles win. Adria Engel and Dora Krstulovic played well against Tiffany Brymer and Jewel Peterson, falling to the Trojans 8-5. Mhairi Brown and Megan Yeats also suffered an 8-3 defeat from Anita Loyola and Luana Magnani.
