ASU held the Midshipmen without a goal in the third quarter, which is a feat only one other team has accomplished this season in nine contests.

Defensively, sophomore goalkeeper Regan Spichiger tallied eight saves in net and held Navy to just four free position goals on 10 shots.

The Sun Devils locked in on defense and held Navy scoreless in the third frame while netting three goals of their own to pull the deficit to just three goals.
ASU had all of the momentum going into the final frame. Though Navy netted the first goal of the fourth quarter to pull ahead 10-6, ASU surged with four goals of their own to tie the game at 10. Navy had the ball with 90 seconds on the clock, and after two missed free positions, scored to take an 11-10 lead with 1:08 on the clock.
