The doubles pair of Tverijonaite and Ovrootsky are 5-1 this season, and have helped the Sun Devils clinch the doubles point in all four of their victories this spring. Junior Karsyn Evans and sophomore Lily Taylor are 3-3 in doubles and have split time on all three positions this year.

Sun Devil outlook
Arizona State (4-2)

  • The Sun Devils are 4-0 this season when they win the doubles point.
  • Emilija Tverijonaite, this spring, has recorded three donuts in 18 sets played, meaning she’s won three sets with a score of 6-0 without dropping a game to her opponent.
  • Tverijonaite is one win away from 30 wins in dual matches in her career and one win away from 20 wins this season, following a 13-5 fall season.
ASU is 5-1 this season from the No. 3 position, contributing to four dual wins as a team.
  • Last season, Sara Svetac upset No. 14 Savannah Broadus, 7-5, 6-4, to clinch the win for the Sun Devils over No. 15 Pepperdine. The victory earned Svetac Big 12 Player of the Week.
