LEXINGTON, Ky. – Following a strong year in the classroom, Sun Devil Beach Volleyball has earned a 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award, sponsored by INTENT.
Teams that maintain a year-long GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale earn the award from the AVCA. Arizona State had a 3.71 cumulative GPA in the 2024-25 academic year. This is the second year in a row the team has earned this award under head coach Kristen Glattfelder.
Another academic award won this season was junior Tori Clement earning CSC Academic All-District.
In addition to academic success, the 2025 Sand Devils broke the record for win total, winning 22 games. Arizona State ended the year ranked No. 12 in the AVCA Coaches Poll after spending the entire season ranked in the top 15, getting as high as No. 10. At the first Big 12 Beach Volleyball Championships, ASU finished in second place, coming up just short in a 3-2 battle against the 2025 NCAA National Champions TCU.
