TEMPE – Sun Devil Softball is off to Lubbock, Texas, to close their regular season against Big 12 leaders No. 11/12 Texas Tech. The three game series from Rocky Johnson Field is the first trip to Lubbock in ASU program history.
The series begins on Friday at 6 p.m. CT/4 p.m. AZT, and continues on Saturday at 4 p.m./2 p.m. Sunday's series finale will start at Noon/10 a.m.

The Big 12 Softball Championship returns to Oklahoma City's OGE Field at Devon Park, the home of the Women's College World Series, from May 7-10. All 11 teams will compete in the single-elimination format with the top five finishers in the regular season receiving a first-round bye.
ASU has a magic number of four to clinch a bye and they can still finish anywhere from first through seventh in the final standings.
Looking Back
The Sun Devils closed their home slate by taking two of three from Baylor last weekend to clinch a fifth series win of the season. They won three of the four home series they hosted this season.
About Texas Tech

Kelsey Hall opened the season in the starting lineup just 277 days after tearing her ACL. Having started all 49 games, Hall is batting .338 with a .972 OPS. She leads the team with 47 RBIs while posing 51 hits with six doubles and 10 home runs.
In her sixth season of collegiate softball, Hall ranks 24th among players with 159 RBIs and 363 total bases. She is also 27th with 152 runs scored and 31st with 40 home runs.
Tanya Time
Tanya Windle has four multi-hit games in the last seven outings and she leads the team with 58 hits and a .377 average. Windle has 18 extra-base hits, including 12 doubles and three triples. She leads the Sun Devils with 17 multi-hit games that includes four games with at least three hits.
Windle ranks 13th among active NCAA players with 12 triples in her career. Her .395 career batting average is 10th among active players – and fourth among juniors – with at least 450 career at-bats.
Freshman Gem Part 1
