TEMPE – Sun Devil Soccer, in coordination with the Big 12 Conference, released its schedule for the 2025 season on Wednesday morning. Arizona State has 20 games on the calendar in the fall, 11 of which will be played at Sun Devil Soccer Stadium.
The opponents include eight teams that played in the 2024 NCAA Women's Soccer National Tournament, with six of those contests taking place during Big 12 action.
The 2025 Sun Devils will open the regular season with a home game versus Nevada on August 14. That will be the first time the teams have played since 2014.
ASU's first road trip of the season will take them to the Lone Star State, where they will face Texas on August 21 and Texas State on August 24. The Longhorns reached the second round of last year's NCAA Tournament. That is also the first meeting between the two teams since 2014, while the game at Texas State is the first matchup in series history.
The final road game of the non-conference slate will take ASU to Las Vegas for a meeting with UNLV on August 28. The Sun Devils haven't played the Rebels since earning a 6-0 win in Tempe during the 2015 season.
That leads into a run of seven straight at home that begins on August 31 against New Mexico State. Pepperdine – coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance – visits Tempe on September 4 with Denver following on September 7. The final non-conference game of the season is set for September 12 against UTEP.
Big 12 play starts on September 18 when the Sun Devils host BYU. It's the second straight season the Sun Devils will meet the Cougars in their first conference game of the season, after doing so last season in Provo.
Oklahoma State comes to Tempe on September 25 for the first meeting between the programs as members of the Big 12. ASU then hosts UCF on September 28 after the teams played to a 1-1 draw last season in Orlando.
The Sun Devils then start a run of six of eight on the road to finish the season. That stretch begins at Cincinnati on October 2 and continues at West Virginia on October 5. Both of those teams came to ASU during the 2024 season, with the Sun Devils defeating Cincinnati and falling to West Virginia.
ASU then travels to Boulder to face Colorado on October 10. That will be the first meeting in the Big 12 for the former Pac-12 rivals after they didn't play each other in 2024.
A pair of split weeks comes next for ASU, which has the Sun Devils hosting Texas Tech on October 16 and then hitting the road to play at Iowa State on October 19. They will then play at Utah on October 23 before hosting TCU in the final home game of the season on October 26.
The regular season will conclude on October 30 against Arizona in Tucson.
The Big 12 Championship will run from November 3-8, with the top eight teams making the field. The first two rounds will be played at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas, with the championship moving to Baylor in Waco, Texas.
