LOS ANGELES – Closing out the regular season, No. T-11 Sun Devil Water Polo (17-7, 1-4 MPSF) head to California to face the top ranked USC (24-1, 3-0 MPSF) at Uytengsu Aquatics Center this Saturday at 1 p.m. Live stats will be on 6-8 sports and the match will be streamed on Overnght.
The trip to LA is a familiar one for redshirt junior Molly Glad as she graduated with her undergraduate degree from USC in 2024. As a Trojan, Glad accumulated 15 points with 13 of those being goals.

The MPSF stats leader board is littered with Maroon and Gold as five individuals rank among fellow conference members. Millie Quin sits in third for goals and points with 78 and 99 respectively. She also has 31 steals which puts her in fourth place for steals. Itziar Almeda has 61 goals (fifth place) and 33 assists (sixth place) for a combined 94 points (fourth place). In net, Keri Glad has 122 saves, landing her in fifth place for saves. She also boasts the third highest save percentage of .2857%. Sanne Keijzer sits in eighth for her 71 saves. Senior Marie Rudasics has the second highest save percentage in the conference at 66.04%.

Itziar Almeda was named MPSF Newcomer of the Week for the second time this season. This award comes off an impressive 8-point performance last weekend against No. 5 Cal. sHE was an integral part in keeping the Sun Devils in the game with six goals and two assists. She also added two steals and two field blocks to her weekend statistics. Almeda is currently on a 14-game point scoring streak boasting 54 points (39G, 15A) in that span. She leads all freshmen in goals, assists, and points and leads the team in assists (33). She sits in fifth for goals scored, fourth for points, and sixth for assists in the MPSF.

- The Sun Devils dropped an MPSF match to No. 5 California 14-18 over the weekend. ASU was led by Itziar Almeda and Millie Quin, who scored eight and six points respectively, but were unable to pull off the upset.
- Arizona State is 4-4 in its last eight games. All four losses have come against ranked opponents, and three of the four wins came against such opponents.
- Quin continues to lead the team in goals, with 78, and Almeda leads the squad in assists, with 33. The two are also 1-2 on the team in points.
